Day One Hundred and Eighty Eight

See the black VW? On the other side of it stood three Asian girls confused at how to open the gas cap and then how to pump the gas. Luckily they were brave enough to ask a stranger (me) how to do it! It is things like this that make me wonder how many other things we do on a regular basis that we take for granted. Simple things that may be second nature to us, but confusing for someone new to the country or area.

Day Thirty Two

My first charity mention of the year. My friend Nori and I are both Microsoft Xbox MVP's and during the MVP Summit this year we decided to put some of our time to good use and raise some money for charity! The charity is awesome but it was cool to get a mention on a site viewed by a lot of people, too :) GivingChiX, Microsoft MVPs put on The Blanket Project in Seattle

“They say gamers have great hands and we aim to prove that they can do great things with those hands,” said Kiki Lewis, Microsoft Xbox MVP.
